FINAL REFLECTION PAPER.
Well, I have a lot of things to say. I have had a very
good experience during all these years but mostly during all this semester
because it was time for me to put into practice what I had learned during all
my major. This semester was really good because I had the opportunity to teach
basic level students, intermediate level students and also to English access
students. I had many different experiences in every level I had to teach, I had
different type of students, some of them were really interested in every class
but some others looked like if they did not want to learn English at all.
These experiences taught me that as teachers we are
going to be facing many difficulties every single day and in every single
class, so we need to know that it is going to be challenging but that is what
teachers are for; teachers are there to teach others, to guide, to check
students understanding and to make them become very good persons in the future
because sometimes the future of many students depends on what kind of teachers they
have had.
I have to recognize that at the beginning I did want
to be a teacher at all but through all these experiences I know what I have
born for. I really love teaching others and sharing my knowledge. I also know
that I have to change some things that I do not do well at the time of teaching
such as: monitoring, looking for the right activities, timing, etc. I think
that at the end of my major I will be a better person with more experiences,
well prepared and ready to be a good teacher somewhere God wants me to be
teaching.
I am still missing a semester in which I will be
having some other better experiences in EFL classrooms with very good students
